Free Tickets for a Fun-Filled Saturday

This past Saturday, the OC Soccer Club treated our group to a thrilling victorious match with a 3 to 2 win against Detroit City FC, providing free tickets to their game! It was an incredible opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy some exciting soccer action, and create unforgettable memories.

At Matthew Hoppe Foundation, we believe in the power of sports to bring people together and make a positive impact on our communities. That’s why we’re excited to share that we recently donated soccer balls to the YMCA in Anaheim!

*Empowering Young Athletes*

Our donation aims to support the YMCA’s efforts in providing quality sports programs for children and teens in the Anaheim area. By providing new soccer balls, we hope to help empower young athletes to develop their skills, build teamwork and sportsmanship, and most importantly, have fun!

*Promoting Healthy Lifestyles*

As an organization, we’re committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting initiatives that align with our values. The YMCA’s mission to foster healthy living, youth development, and community engagement resonates deeply with us.

*Making a Difference Together*

We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with the YMCA Anaheim and contribute to the positive impact they’re making in the community. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of young people and help shape a brighter future.

*Join Us in Giving Back*

We encourage others to join us in giving back to their communities. Whether through donations, volunteering, or other forms of support, every effort counts!

Last year, Matthew Hoppe sponsored over 120 children personally who attended our first annual soccer camp and was also in attendance.  After last year’s success, we are excited to host our second soccer camp from June 3rd to June 5th here in Southern California.  Our goal is to continue to grow the game of soccer for our youth in Orange County, California.

Grace Shipley commented about last year’s camp with Lou Ponsi contributor for Orange County Register in their June 12th 2023 article “Grace said her 13-year-old daughter, Isabella, and 11-year-old son, Zander, were learning life lessons from participating in the camp – not just in athletics but in giving back to their community.”  For 10-year-old Lina, who has been playing since she was 3, free play is simply more fun on all levels.  “I like meeting people and scoring goals,” she said. “Soccer brings out more joy in the world.”

Our goal is to continue to inspire our youth through the beautiful game of soccer by providing resources for them to grow and reach their highest potential on and off the field.  We hope that you will join us this June!
